Native Plant Ramble - Island Ford, Chattahoochee NRA

Join your fellow GNPS members for an educational walk in the woods led by GNPS Chair Michael Cowan. This month's "ramble" will offer a great way to learn about the native plants and to meet new friends who are also native plant enthusiasts as we explore the newly refurbished trails at Island Ford!

• Event is free and open to GNPS members and a guest. Pre-registration is required.

• Plan to hike about 3 miles (around 3 hours), with slight hills but mostly flat.

• Bring water and wear comfortable hiking gear.

• No prior plant knowledge is required.

• Bathrooms are available in the park but not advacent to the trail we will be taking.

• Parking and meeting location will be emailed to those who register a few days prior to the hike.
