Intown Atlanta GNPS 2024 Annual Meeting

Join us for our chapter's 2024 Annual Meeting at Agnes Scott College. The annual meeting is our chapter's largest gathering of the year, and it's a great opportunity to get to know your native plant enthusiast neighbors!

Featured speaker Trecia Neal will discuss native plants in a time of climate change. Trecia's talk will explore the complex issues surrounding climate change and its effect on native plants. We will discuss our historic climate zones and how climate change is currently affecting our ecosystem. We will also discuss how climate change is expected to affect our native plant species and how they will respond. In addition, Trecia will cover how phenology is changing, and how wildlife is being impacted by those changes.

Have you volunteered for us this year? Whether you volunteered at an event or restoration workday, tabled, or took part in a committee, we want to thank you! Join us at a Volunteer Appreciation Brunch from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Other things to look forward to are a brief presentation on the highlights from the past year, the Intown chapter board election, and the opportunity to buy chapter-exclusive merch.
