January Meeting

Neil Norton will be our speaker at the January 9th meeting at Atlanta Botanical Garden. He will speak on trees and tree health. Join us at 6:30 pm for announcements; the presentation begins at 7 pm.

Native Plant Nurseries
Did you know that we have a page on our website with a listing of known native plant nurseries? It's the Sources for Native Plants page. Georgia nurseries are listed first, sorted by city.
Chapter News
Our Coastal Plain Chapter is helping to sponsor St. Mary’s Middle School in St. Mary’s, GA with their Native Plant Garden which is a part of the Connect to Protect program at the State Botanical Garden of Georgia.
Members have been donating seeds from native plants to the students to plant in their greenhouse to transfer to their garden in the spring. Seeds have been sent and collected at meetings.
